Theologos is an old village build in the mountains of Thassos, north from Potos.
Under the regiment of the türk- ägypt power it was also the sit of the local authority.
Theologos was almost until the last century the most important village on the island.

Some examples of the architecture shows how the people were living long ago.
The roofs of the houses were made by stone.
Every year they are dancing with the traditionell clothes on a marriage.
Here they are dancing as in the old times.

Theologos was also the local sit of the villages Theologos, Potos, Pefkari, Psili Ammos, Astris and Kynira.
In this part they are living about 2000 inhabitants.
In winter they are living from the earning of the sale of olives and fishing.
In summer they are earning their lives with the tourism.
